
Fast Formatter
Fast Formatter 2.0 was created to make the formatting of camera media (SD, QXD, CF cards, SSDs) easier and quicker. By using this bash script, it will turn any computer into a fast formatter. Once formatted, each card will no longer contain data. The cards will use the file system, exfat with the title set to, UNTITLED.
Create using Linux Bash scripts on a Raspberry Pi 3B, this project was made to improve workflows. This project saw Jamie go from not knowing how to write any code to writing this simple programme in one day.
Do Audiences Care About Video Quality?
An exploration of audiences attitudes to video and audio quality in the streaming age. By using industry interviews, questionnaires and practical exercises, it aims to understand audiences relationship to the fidelity of the media they are watching. By differentiating between storytelling and the objectional video and audio compression, the outcome of the study found that audiences do not care about video and audio quality and, through inference audiences watch media for narratives.
