
BURT – Short Stage Play (2018)
‘Burt’, was a finalist in the 2018 ‘Enter Stage Write’ Competition and was performed professionally at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Burt follows an old man, who has been warped by loneliness, as he acclimates to a carer who helps him become a better person.
Millennials – Short Stage Play (2017)
Jamie was commissioned to write a short comedic theatre performance as part of the Physical Fellowship, a Physical Theatre Festival hosted by Highly Sprung Performance and hosted by the Belgrade Theatre. The piece explored the themes of existentialism, how life began, and how relationships define what it means to be alive. He also acted in the piece.


Burt – Short Screenplay (2022)
‘Burt’ was retooled and rewritten as a short film and was a semi-finalist in the RIFF Screenwriting Competition 2022. It is also in the top 22% of all projects on Coverfly.com. The film focus is now on Sophie, a carer with aspirations to become a dancer, who feels stuck in life due to looking after her belligerent client Burt.
The Platonic Ideal – Short Story (2021)
An exploration of Asexuality in a highly sexualised world.
Sam has asked Olivia, his long-term friend, to dinner, on the pretence that he is going to ask her to become his girlfriend. When Olivia refuses his advances she inquires about where this has come from to which, Sam reveals that he is asexual.


Start-Up – Short Screenplay (2020)
As part of a script development initiative, Start-up was workshopped by actors over video-call to explore the piece.
Start-up followed two co-founders of a ‘company,’ as they try to find a killer idea to make their business a success, only they have no idea what they are doing.
